Product Data and Reporting Analyst

Job Description The Product Data & Reporting Analyst develops and supports the data analytics needs of the Product Department. In addition, the Analyst provides the means to access pertinent data primarily through the use of AMIG business intelligence suite of products (Cognos Analytics, TM1 Planning Analytics, and SQL). Responsible for performing initial research on recurring data errors and escalating as required. This position will also add consistency and streamline the Radar process and output. Roles &
Responsibilities:
Assists end-users with self-service analytics by providing technical support and business knowledge Develops reports, dashboards, story boards, data modules and visualizations to meet Product departments needs Provides ad-hoc training sessions with the Product about various Business Intelligence tools and capabilities, as well as data availability Troubleshoots and provides user support for data analytic needs Create intent and analysis packet templates. Maintain Radar shells and framework. Own all of Product's data and provide it to external parties, such as Lexis Nexis, as necessary. Perform data audits and provide user support for data analytic issues by reviewing data and data sources for flaws in design or integrity. Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required within Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance or similar field. MBA or similar advanced degree, CPCU and/or FCAS preferred 5
years of experience in a business intelligence-related position Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills Have excellent problem solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills including; ability to relate numbers and calculations to ideas Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with Business Intelligence tool sets (Cognos Analytics, TM1, Power BI) Proficient with gathering data using Structured Query Language (SQL) Familiar with logical and/or physical data modeling techniques Familiar with Data Warehousing and/or Business Intelligence and Analytics tools, technologies, testing, project lifecycle (SDLC), and best practices Proficient in translating functional business requirements to technical specifications Use of RADAR for impact, rate structure, quality and market analysis. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine Learning, Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
