In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continually improving our global environmental, health, and safety programs to reduce risk, prevent incidents, and comply with regulatory requirements. You will lead the charge in ensuring we provide a safe, secure, and compliant work environment across all our global locations. Does this work energize you? Strategy Set the vision, objectives, and path to achieve a high-performing EHS operation and culture in ProMach Support operations leadership in identifying priorities, objectives, and targets to align all ProMach facilities with corporate strategies and in developing a strong safety culture across the organization People and Program Management Develop, deploy, and monitor all EHS programs, procedures, policies, and standards complying with jurisdictional and ProMach EHS requirements Manage internal governing safety oversight committee:
set mission and charter, identify improvements, and set continuous improvement targets Mentor and coach direct report and facility leadership teams to improve the technical, leadership, and communication skills in safety and environmental areas Integrate acquisition into ProMach EHS programs and structure Oversee corporate PPE program for all facilities Liaise with 3rd party health and safety and environmental compliance providers to actively manage compliance programs and implement global coverage Reporting and Analytics Using tools and dashboards, develop and support actionable reports for internal tracking and government reporting requirements Publish safety and health metrics and communicate to all levels of the organization Oversee record keeping and environmental data collection Compliance Partner with Human Resources to optimally manage injury/illnesses cases, manage effective restricted work programs, and safely return employees to work, consistent with necessary restrictions Manage regulatory agency inspections and interactions Review and investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes, develop and implement corrective actions Ensure all jurisdictionally required compliance reporting is maintained for all sites Manage facility compliance calendars Develop training aids and other forms of documentation What's in it for you? Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety and Health, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Environmental Sciences required Minimum of 7
years of experience managing environmental health and safety multi-site leadership; at least 5
years of experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in leading safety cultural change across an organization and in leveraging multiple approaches to help people adopt and implement sustainable change Demonstrated ability in leading continuous improvement activities and programs, and in implementing processes, tools, and best practices Proven leadership skills in working collaboratively with teams and influencing those beyond a formal reporting relationship Excellent communication skills and styles, both written and verbal; demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners Experience with governmental agencies, compliance, and regulations (e.g., US EPA, DOT, OSHA, Canadian, and European governmental agencies) Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar designation preferred We were named to the Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. seven times.
