Farm and Ranch Underwriting Manager

Job Description Purpose:
Oversees work processes and key deliverables for Specialty Clients related to Underwriting to ensure sound risk selection decisions and to support top-line growth and bottom-line profitability objectives. Roles &
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to underwriting letters of authority and provide consultation on issues in accordance with such authority. Participate in the due diligence and onboarding of new program opportunities. Develop and maintain Underwriting Guidelines for programs Coach Associates to ensure a combination of logic, analysis, experience, wisdom and underwriting methods are consistently used to make sound, timely decision to solve problems Support adherence to risk management policies and procedures Manage service level objectives and risk quality selection Collaboration with internal and external partners to resolve issues and build a team-oriented approach Foster an environment that includes active listening, team building, and dynamic dialog resulting in increased employee engagement Lead process improvement and workflow efficiency initiatives Ensure a culture of compliance through systems, audit, and training. Development of proper control framework for Specialty Clients Underwriting. Performance management through continuous conversations and associate development Utilize data and analytics to manage performance and drive efficiencies Drive strategic vision and lead projects for Specialty Clients Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Supervisor's certification, CPCU or other industry coursework/designation is required 7
years of underwriting experience 2
years supervising exempt associates, teams, or process preferably in underwriting is required Farm & Ranch experience required Detail-oriented; strong analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have excellent leadership skills Possess excellent time management skills Has the ability to demonstrate process improvement skills Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Project Management Excellent organizational skills; ability to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team setting Preferred:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Banking, Loans & Insurance, Risk & Quantitative AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
